In the Caribbean, there is not much data, stats, and research on the lives of trans-women; but we know from our work that their experiences are real, even if it is unreported or misreported.
The harassment, violence, and inequalities they face by society, in access to services and health care, and the freedoms and enjoyment of life; we can never achieve a just and equal society if we continue to turn a blind eye to the trans community of the Caribbean.
Throughout the years, #CFPA has worked with #PANCAP, #IPPF, #CVC, and local #LGBT groups through our members and associations, we will continue to enhance services for the rights and protection for sexual and gender minorities, and stand with them for a just and equitable Caribbean society.
