From our Board of Directors to our community advocates in the fields, CFPA utility #volunteerism in all aspects of our work regionally, from Anguilla to Trinidad and Tobago.
This year’s theme for International Volunteer Day: Volunteer now for our common future, reminds us of the Caribbean proverb, “many hands make light work”. Together we are working towards that future where all the people of the Caribbean have access to the information, services, and rights they need to live healthy and empowered lives.
Today, we thank the members of the Board for their leadership, our support teams for their commitment, our youth leaders for their ambition, and our community and student volunteers for their energies – together, we are making a difference.
A special thank you to the Youth Advocacy Movements region-wide, which are doing exemplary work in providing information services through Comprehensive Sexuality Education, and advocating for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
