Dominica Planned Parenthood Association (DPPA)
DPPA has been pioneering family planning in Dominica since 1976. Today, it continues to meet the demand for sexual and reproductive health services—particularly among vulnerable communities—by providing a full range of services that include contraceptives, gynecological care, pregnancy tests, breast exams, and counseling services.
DPPA has played a key role in making sexual and reproductive health services available to all residents of Dominica. DPPA is an important advocate of school-based comprehensive sexuality education and the need for health professionals to embrace youth-friendly services.
The Youth Advocacy Movement (YAM), the youth arm of the Dominica Planned Parenthood Association, supports young Dominicans’ right to sexual and reproductive health information and care.
