Bahamas Sexual Health & Rights Association (BaSHRA)
The Bahamas Sexual Health & Rights Association, previously known as the Bahamas Family Planning Association, has pioneered family planning in The Bahamas since 1985. Today, it continues to meet the demand for sexual and reproductive health services—particularly among vulnerable communities—by providing a full range of services that include contraceptives, gynecological care, pregnancy tests, breast exams, as well as services specifically geared for the LGBTQ community.
BaSHRA continues to play an important role in addressing the sexual and reproductive health needs of all residents of The Bahamas. .
